Jeremy A. Murray is assistant professor of Chinese history at California State University, San Bernardino. His published works include articles on Chinese history in film and memory, including the portrayals of World War II through mainstream Chinese cinema. Murray's research focuses mainly on the history of Hainan island in the 20th century.
Kathleen M. Nadeau is professor of anthropology at California State University, San Bernardino. Her published works include ABC-CLIO's Liberation Theology in the Philippines: Faith in a Revolution and Greenwood's The History of the Philippines and Women's Roles in Asia. Nadeau's ongoing research focuses on climate change and resilience in the Philippines.
